Partnering with national birding authority, Cornell Lab of Ornithology, GB introduced Bob’s to a quiet group of social media fans with huge potential: birders. This partnership minimized the impact on Bob’s lean internal marketing team, leveraging Cornell’s network of marketers and existing active social community. A Bob’s Red Mill-sponsored contest allowed birders to share their best bird pictures and win digital glory—as well as BRM prizes. A subtle connection, much appreciated by their new fans.
