Pro-moting the non-profits: the GB Grant is back

We know these are tough times for Portland-area non-profits, who are no strangers to working with little or no budgets but need help to raise awareness for their work. We at GB are anxious to help. For the third year in a row, we’re awarding one $25,000 GB Grant of in-kind marketing services – marketing strategy development, planning, creative development, digital communications, social media marketing or public relations – to a Portland-Metro area charitable organization making a difference in the local community. To be eligible, the non-profit organization must be able to contribute an equal amount of budget, either through its existing marketing budget or in human time and assets, to cover costs associated with the production and execution of the materials such as media costs, printing, or digital programming.  Past recipients include The Dougy Center and SMART (Start Making A Reader Today). Why are we doing this? Because Grady Britton has a proud history of volunteerism – investing our time and talents in extraordinary organizations making a positive difference in the lives of people around us. It’s one of the reasons we are consistently named one of Oregon’s best small companies to work for. And, it’s the reason we appreciate organizations like yours who put your time, money, and efforts where the need is great. So. Fill out the RFP application and tell us what you need. And why. The RFP is due to Grady Britton no later than 5:00 p.m. July 19, 2010. The winner will be announced on July 26.
