GB work wins Excellence and two Merit awards in 2012 Rosey Awards
It’s always a good time when Portland’s creative community gets together to celebrate the “Work that Works.” Portland Ad Fed’s annual Rosey Awards is our annual show of the best work our local agencies are producing, and a chance to meet the talent behind it all. This year was Grady Britton’s turn to host the Rosey Awards: developing the theme, creative support (design, emails, videos), creating the website for entries, judging, etc., even collaborating with FabPDX on the trophy itself. (Check out the vids we shot for the show. Hilariousness.) We also used Pinterest this year to facilitate votes for People’s Choice. It was a pretty sweet use of that platform to get people involved and showcase the work at the same time. There was some amazing work submitted, as always. GB took home an Excellence in the “P.R. Hotness” category for the “Teach Me How to Brushy” campaign for Oregon Dental Association, with work for Bob’s Red Mill & Cornell Lab of Ornithology picking up a Merit in the “Social Marketing” category, with another Merit going to the work we did for the 2012 Rosey Awards website. It just keeps getting better every year. And 2013 will certainly be the judge of that! PS. Did you know that award-winning work is actually shown to be more effective? Check out this whitepaper from the IPA, the British equivalent of our AAAA’s, to be convinced.
